Terms of Service

Welcome to Songcove. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Songcove website and services at songcove.ai (the “Service”), operated by Songcove (“Songcove,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service or buying anything from us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who can use Songcove

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to buy from us or create an account. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you give us is accurate.

2. What Songcove does

Songcove turns a short story you write into a personalized song using artificial intelligence, and offers optional extras such as a voice-cloned vocal (“Your Voice”), a lyric video, digital wall art, and audio downloads. Songs, lyrics, cover art, and vocals are generated by AI and by third-party AI providers on our behalf.

3. The content you provide

You are responsible for the story, names, photos, and any voice recordings you give us (“Your Content”). You represent that you own or have the rights and permissions needed to provide Your Content and to have a song created from it, and that Your Content does not infringe anyone’s rights or break the law.

You keep ownership of Your Content. You grant Songcove and its AI providers a limited license to process Your Content solely to create and deliver your order, and to operate and maintain the Service.

4. Voice cloning (“Your Voice”)

If you use Your Voice, you may only submit a recording of your own voice, or a voice you have explicit permission from that person to use. You must not clone, imitate, or impersonate anyone without their clear consent. Using the Service to deceive, defraud, harass, or impersonate a person is strictly prohibited and will result in termination.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to create, upload, or share content that:

• is illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, or obscene;
• infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
• uses another person’s name, likeness, or voice without their consent;
• impersonates a person or organization or is intended to mislead; or
• attempts to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service.

6. Your song and how you can use it

Once your order is paid, you may use your song, video, and wall art for personal, non-commercial purposes — to gift, share, print, and keep. Because songs are AI-generated, we cannot guarantee that a song is wholly unique or that a similar song will never be produced for someone else. If you want to use your song commercially, contact us first.

7. Payments, previews, and refunds

You can preview a portion of your song for free before paying. Prices are shown at checkout. Because our products are custom, digital, and made-to-order, they are generally non-refundable once the full song is unlocked or generated. If something went wrong on our end, contact us and we’ll try to make it right. Add-ons and subscriptions are described on our pricing page and are subject to these Terms.

8. Third-party AI and payment providers

We rely on third-party providers to generate music, vocals, lyrics, and artwork, and to process payments. Your Content is shared with these providers only as needed to fulfill your order. Their handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual property

The Songcove name, logo, website, and design are owned by us and may not be copied or used without permission. These Terms do not transfer any Songcove intellectual property to you beyond the license to use your own finished order as described above.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that an AI-generated song will meet your expectations. AI output can be unpredictable.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Songcove will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the order giving rise to the claim.

12. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date shows when. Continued use after a change means you accept it. We may suspend or end access to the Service for anyone who breaks these Terms.
